Development updates

This is not a second blog. It is the public working record behind the products: what changed, what the work taught us, and why important structural choices were made.

  1. The public product story catches up with the release system

    Version releaseMilestoneArchitecture decision

SEANGWORLD v1.5.0 turns Products into a complete catalog, introduces public-safe BeastFusion and Change the World showcases, and reconciles the meaningful ecosystem release record from July 11 through August 16.

    Milestones

    • Published one organized catalog for The Beast, SEANGWORLD Technology, and standalone products.
    • Corrected Change the World from planning to its released v0.6.0 Phase 1 foundation without claiming a playable simulator.
    • Added substantive BeastFusion and BeastFusion Dashboard explanations with current public-safe evidence.
    • Recovered durable release history for SEANGWORLD, the current Beast family, BeastHealth, Digital Professional performance, BeastMoney lifecycle safety, PLAT-001 closure, and Change the World Phase 1.

    Lesson learned

A public status page drifts when every surface carries its own version string and release story. Current identity should project from one reviewed record, while historical milestones remain explicit dated events.

    Architecture decision

SEANGWORLD now keeps its own release identity in version-manifest.json and a public-safe ecosystem projection in product-release-manifest.json. Product pages and status surfaces consume the projection; BeastFusion remains the governed upstream record.

  2. The public language catches up with the Beast philosophy

    MilestoneArchitecture decision

SEANGWORLD now describes Beast consistently as a platform for long-term AI Professional relationships, evidence-based shared understanding, source ownership, cross-module intelligence, and professional guidance.

    Milestones

    • Aligned the homepage, product pages, Articles, Workshop, Beast showcase, Timeline, and Development Journal around the same public philosophy.
    • Replaced generic dashboard and tool-first descriptions with relationship, evidence, understanding, and ownership language.
    • Updated the public demonstration record to show BeastOS, Money Coach, Guidance Counselor, BeastAdmin, and the shared ecosystem.

    Lesson learned

A philosophy only becomes useful when product descriptions, demonstrations, articles, and historical records use the same boundaries and vocabulary.

    Architecture decision

BeastOS coordinates permissioned shared understanding. AI Professionals provide bounded guidance, source modules retain their records, and members keep decision authority.

  3. SEANGWORLD becomes company-first

    MilestoneArchitecture decision

The homepage now introduces SEANGWORLD as a technology company founded by Sean Gatewood before presenting its products, articles, and tools.

    Milestones

    • Made the company mission, founder, purpose, and problems SEANGWORLD addresses visible in the opening experience.
    • Presented Beast, Change the World, and future products as one SEANGWORLD ecosystem.
    • Separated the top-level ecosystem from the focused products that live inside the Beast family.

    Lesson learned

Visitors need to understand the company and its purpose before individual tools or product features have useful context.

    Architecture decision

SEANGWORLD is the company and public discovery layer. Beast is its personal AI operating-system family, and BeastOS is the shared platform inside Beast.

  4. The public production baseline is established

    Version releaseMilestoneArchitecture decision

SEANGWORLD v1.3.0 completed the public quality, production-hardening, metadata, and release-record baseline.

    Milestones

    • Validated the public routes, recovery states, metadata, sitemap, robots guidance, and structured data.
    • Established consistent production response headers at the hosting edge.
    • Kept Release Notes and Changelog as the canonical public version record.

    Lesson learned

A public product is not ready because one page looks finished. Navigation, recovery, metadata, accessibility, and deployment behavior have to work together.

    Architecture decision

SEANGWORLD owns public publishing and discovery, while authenticated accounts and private personal work remain inside BeastOS.

  5. Product discovery gets honest availability

    Version releaseArchitecture decision

SEANGWORLD v1.2.0 introduced public product pages and clear labels for what is available, in beta, planned, or part of BeastOS.

    Milestones

    • Published discovery pages for BeastOS and its focused product areas.
    • Added availability labels that distinguish current products from future plans.
    • Clarified that goals and documents are shared BeastOS capabilities rather than separate products.

    Lesson learned

Clear status language builds more trust than presenting every idea as if it were already available.

    Architecture decision

Shared capabilities belong to BeastOS; focused experiences remain products inside the Beast family.

  6. Visitors can see what changed

    Version releaseMilestone

SEANGWORLD v1.1.0 added the first public release notes, changelog, visible version identity, and stronger search and sharing information.

    Read v1.1.0 release notes

    Milestones

    • Added public Release Notes and Changelog routes.
    • Displayed the current SEANGWORLD version consistently.
    • Improved responsive navigation and public search and social metadata.

    Lesson learned

People can follow a product only when changes are recorded in language they can understand.

    Architecture decision

Release identity comes from one canonical source so the footer, release notes, changelog, and metadata do not drift apart.
