OUR METHOD
How SEANGWORLDNEWS Works
No source—and no AI—is assumed to be unbiased. Our objective is to minimize opinion through a transparent, repeatable process that distinguishes verifiable facts from claims, disputes and unknowns.
1. Sources are inputs, not our editorial voice
SEANGWORLDNEWS does not assume that BBC, NPR, Fox, government agencies, local outlets, or any other publisher is unbiased. Each source is evidence to evaluate, compare and attribute.
2. We cluster coverage of the same event
Reports about the same event are grouped so readers are not asked to treat repeated reporting as separate facts. Independent-source counts are preserved.
3. We separate facts from claims
Fact Desk distinguishes established facts, attributed claims, allegations, estimates, predictions, disputed claims and unknowns. Claims that require attribution remain attributed.
4. Corroboration matters
A single-source report is not presented as equivalent to reporting independently supported by multiple sources. Primary and official evidence is identified when it is directly relevant.
5. AI does not get a free pass
AI can introduce bias or error. SEANGWORLDNEWS therefore uses deterministic publication gates, evidence requirements, source links, QA checks and audit records rather than assuming an AI answer is neutral or correct.
6. Unsupported prose is blocked
A Fact Brief must cite its evidence and satisfy publication safeguards. Missing evidence, missing attribution, unresolved disputes and other gate failures can hold a brief instead of publishing it.
7. Readers can check the work
Published Fact Briefs show their source list and link to the original material. The goal is not to ask readers to trust a black box; it is to make the evidence inspectable.
What “Just the Facts” means here
It does not mean claiming perfect neutrality. It means using a documented process designed to reduce editorial opinion, identify uncertainty, preserve attribution, require evidence and let readers inspect the underlying sources.
